Allison~ Garden Shop Manager
Allison has worked for us since April 2010 and has an extensive background in customer service. She loves to garden and is becoming especially enchanted with miniature gardening. One of Allison's favorite group of plants is tropicals and she is especially fond of Mandevillas, Gardenias and Citrus trees.
Russ~ Tree/Shrub Manager
Russ has been with us since March 2010 and has 12 years of experience in the garden center business. He is a University of Kentucky graduate,
Kentucky Certified Nurseryman, and Certified Pesticide Agent with the Ky. Department of Agriculture. Russ enjoys gardening, golf, UK athletics and anything outside. Some of his favorite plants are the Serviceberry, Ninebark and Epimedium.
Ken~ Tree/Shrub Specialist
Ken has been with us and in the garden center business since March of 2007. He is a Certified Pesticide Agent and is glad to talk with you about his favorite plants: Dicentra, Mimosa and Lavender. Ken enjoys playing sports and most any outdoor related activity such as canoeing, biking and hiking.
Wes~ Tree/Shrub Specialist
Wes is the owners' son and has been in the business since he was 4. He is taking classes at UK majoring in business & horticulture and he also has his Pesticide Certification from the Ky. Department of Agriculture. Some of his interests include kayaking, fishing, biking, most anything outside. Ask Wes about some of his favorite plants- Blackgum, Weigela, Coral Bells and Annual Vinca.
Jennifer~ Color Assistant Manager
Jennifer has worked for us since the spring of 2010 but has 13 years of experience. She began her career with perennials in upstate New York . Jennifer enjoys creative writing(where she spent a summer in Saratoga with a fellowship in creative writing), sculpture, painting, fiber arts and even used to show Clydesdale horses. She has a BA in Fine Arts from Berea College and has a Master Gardener Certification from Saratoga , NY . Jennifer will be glad to chat about her favorite plants: Baptisia, Cimicifuga, Penstemon and Salvia.
