Now that the temperatures are starting to cool down a bit, it's a good time to spruce up your mixed containers and landscape with the color of fall. Here are a few ideas:

* change out the tired looking plantings in your mixed containers with mums, pansies, ornamental kale/cabbage and other beautiful plants of fall

* if you're planting mums in the ground, use Root Stimulator to encourage root development going into winter

* pansies love the cooler temps of fall and will flourish in the fall, winter and spring if you use Espoma Dried Blood when planting and plant them early enough in fall to get their roots strong and established before winter.
